Please note, I am not looking for circumventing QB licenses, quite the opposite. What's you take on the number of licenses required in this case? Since there's no need for both installation of QBs running at the same time using the same DB, I fail to see why there's a need for two licenses. This has been working well for me, except.īoth devices need to be updated to macOS BigSur, where QB 2018 is not supported and will not work.Īfter contacting QB sales/support, there's no clear answer as to how many licenses are required for QB 2021. ![]() ![]() At any given times, only one of the devices is running QB. The QB DB is in the cloud, not at Intuit, for the purpose of accessing my data when travelling. ![]() I currently have QB 2018 for macOS (Catalina) on two devices, an iMac and a MacBook.
